Theater performances

My theater work may seem bohemian and simple from the outside, but as a singer, it is just as demanding, yet I enjoy doing it! Not only do I have to pay attention to stage technique, but my singing performance must also be flawless every time. Just as my character demands it then and there!

In full glory! În plină Glorie!

Written by Peter Quilter

Artistic direction: Cristian Ioan

A comedy inspired by the life of Florence Foster Jenkins, who was recognized in history as the world’s worst soprano.

However, her passion for music enabled her to fill concert halls, even in the face of malicious irony from some quarters. She reached the peak of her career at Carnegie Hall, one of New York’s most renowned concert complexes, known worldwide for its excellent acoustics. However, her success would not have been possible without financial resources and the support of devoted friends.

An extraordinary performance in which the line between courage and naivety disappears. This is a character who is willing to give up everything to make her dream come true. A humorous story that paradoxically made history and continues to have an impact even today.

MR. JURDAN

A dramatic adaptation by Victor Ioan Frunză based on Jean Baptiste Poquelin Molière’s “The Bourgeois Gentleman” and Mikhail Bulgakov’s “Jourdain, the Madman,” directed by Victor Ioan Frunză

Mr. Zsúrdán is an extremely naive but very wealthy man who feels that one thing is missing from his life: the elegance of a person of higher rank.

In order to belong to this category and keep up with the times, he acquires “friends” and employs an entire army of teachers to teach him manners and customs.

However, it is clear that all his activities become ridiculous. Of course, events unfold in such a way that he slowly becomes a “court jester” and is seen as such by others. However, when ignorance meets education, the result can only be comedy, which is constantly entertaining. This is a modern-day comedy that depicts a rich, ignorant man.
