Ambassador of opera
“Music is a revelation greater than all wisdom and philosophy.
Music is the soil in which the spirit lives, thinks, and creates.
Music is the mediator between spiritual and physical life.
Music is the language of the soul. It stirs in us not our instincts, but our deepest thoughts.
Music must bring fire to the hearts of men and tears to the eyes of women.”~ Ludwig van Beethoven ~
For me, singing is “work,” beautiful and humble “work.” I am happy when I see that I have had a “musical” effect on the audience, when they come up to me at the end of the event to congratulate me and tell me about their experiences.
“Dear artist, I got goosebumps, I was so moved by your high-level, professional singing!” Or when I see that the applause lasts a long time, or when they take out their handkerchiefs and fight back tears.
That’s when I see that my “work” has not been in vain, and that those who come to forget their everyday stress and tensions and honor me with their presence have been enriched by the musical experience.
As an opera singer in Oradea and a guest soloist, I have performed in numerous concerts, festivals, and recitals both in Hungary and abroad.
I am currently collaborating on two productions by the Iosif Vulcan Company of the Queen Mary National Theater in Oradea (Mr. Zsúrdán, In Full Splendor/Glory), and I am also a guest soloist at the Romanian Opera in Cluj-Napoca.
I am delighted to be working with such renowned directors as Horia Balint, Victor Ioan Frunză, and Cristian Ioan, as well as theater directors such as Daniel Vulcu and Elvira Rîmbu, and conductors such as Valentin Lazăr and Romeo Rîmbu.
Would you like to know exactly what vocal range a countertenor sings in?
A countertenor is a male solo singer who can control/produce sound through chest resonance in such a way that he sings in a contralto range (between tenor and mezzo-soprano) or even in a mezzo-soprano range (very rarely in a soprano range).
Therefore, he uses the so-called head voice when producing sounds. A technically well-produced countertenor voice can rarely be distinguished from a mezzo-soprano or even a soprano voice.
However, I do not sing in head voice; thanks to my unique abilities, I can sing in soprano range naturally.
